When you have a question, where do you go for the answer? Many times, it’s Google. “Google it.” But Google won’t give you the answer to everything. “What is in this hot dish?” “Where are the fish biting today?” “Why is my chain saw making a rattling noise?” “Why won’t my cough go away?” These are questions for which we need to consult a specialist source in order to obtain the answer. But what about life’s most important questions, having to do with right and wrong, life and death, the invisible and intangible realities of life, the future, absolute truth? Isaiah 8:19—9:2 directs us to the only source for those answers.
